The Walpole Fire Department has its primary responsibility to the citizens of Walpole. Walpole is 20 square miles in area, with a population of approximately 23,000. Protecting $1.7 billion dollars worth of property.
The Fire Department operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week with its 30 Full time Firefighters, Paramedics, and Chief Officers with Full time Advanced Life Support EMS and fire prevention/suppression staff from our 1 station.
With 4 Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, 2 Ambulances, 2 Small Brush Trucks, 1 Large Brush Truck, 1 Special Hazards Unit,and with Support and utility vehicles the department handles the wide veriety of needs for the town.
